A good online dating strategy starts with a great profile. A great profile is unique to you and should reflect your personality and stand out from the rest. Let’s be honest, there are a lot of women online dating, how will you stand out so the man chooses you?
To write a great online profile, start out writing down your best 5-8 adjectives about yourself.With each adjective, think of an example of a story about yourself that portrays that.Also, add what you are looking for in your man and relationships. Make sure you take that from your requirements list.
Here is an example below: Notice how I weave a story about my life that supports the adjective I want to portray. This is all done with my personality and how I would actually talk with someone if I was sitting in front of them. You want to make it conversational, funny, playful, and cute. Not the same old: I like the beach and romantic getaways. Everywoman is saying that. It might be helpful to read other women’s profiles to see the old cliché and when you notice one that is really interesting. It pops!
Adjective: I am Adventurous
Story: I am always up for an adventure as long as you are along for the ride. One of my best adventures was driving across country to California from New Jersey with my best friend. Yes, Thelma and Louise we were. We came up with the idea on Saturday and left that Wednesday, planning our entire trip in 3 days! We had the best time; Wine tasting in Chicago, Hiking in Grand Canyon and Moab, Utah and finally of course the last stop in Las Vegas! I like to mix life up like that. I love staying at the luxurious Ritz, and be pampered to roughing it and camping in Yosemite
Now do this example 5-8 times for each adjective.
You also want to have a second paragraph describing what you are looking for in a man and a relationship like you stated above. That can be about 4-6 sentences long.
For example: I am looking to share my life with someone who makes me laugh until I pee my pants. We play footsie under the table at a romantic restaurant and hold hands. You are honest and tell me the truth even when I dont want to hear it. We have fun and try new things together like mountian biking or a dance class (I wont care if you step on my feet). Bottom line, it is the good times you have with one another and life is too short to sit by the sidelines. Do you want to be on the field with me!
